The Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards™ is the premier event honoring the leadership, innovation and commitment to excellence of the people and businesses in the region's renowned government contracting sector.

Presented by the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, Professional Services Council (PSC) and Washington Technology, the 9th Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards™ is an evening gala dubbed the "Academy Awards of government contracting." This unique  networking event draws nearly 1,000 industry and government leaders.

The Fairfax Chamber, PSC, Washington Technology and the event sponsors urge you to nominate a deserving individual or corporation for one of these prestigious awards in 2012. Nominations will open late winter 2012.

2011 Awards Selection Committee

Finalists and winners are chosen by a panel of highly regarded industry and government leaders. This year, the awards selection committee includes:

• Dr. Jorge Haddock, Dean, George Mason University School of Management
• Tony Barclay, Former CEO, DAI  
• Clifford Kendall, Former Chairman and CEO, Computer Data Systems, Inc. (CDSI) 
• Paul Lombardi, Former CEO, DynCorp
• Charles Rossotti, Senior Advisor, The Carlyle Group, and former Commissioner of Internal Revenue Service  

The Awards Selection Committee also chooses a former government contracting executive to honor with a Hall of Fame Award for his or her exceptional professional excellence, leadership in the industry and contributions to the community.
